Singing Sparrows
Sabrina L. Balkaran, 2T6 PB
Artist’s Statement: "Singing Sparrows'' marks my return to embroidery after an extended break. As a New Year's Resolution, I vowed to embroider every time I felt the urge to procrastinate and scroll through my phone.. As such, this piece is a testament to time well spent and pushes me to critically reflect on my time management.
This pattern was referenced from an online drawing and I am very happy with how it turned out! When embroidering, I remember how much I enjoy working with my hands to create art and I find solace in the precision and pace of this craft. I hope to continue integrating embroidery in my life now that I have found it again. Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my art, I hope you enjoy it!
