Artist statement:

The rise in anti-Asian racism and attacks on my community in the last year have left me feeling sad, afraid, and angry. I'm not sure I have the words to express what I want to express, so I'd just like to share this little piece of myself and my culture to whoever's listening. This song is called "Dà Yú" or "Big Fish", and is the main theme of "Big Fish & Begonia", a Chinese animated film based on ancient Asian texts and folklore.
