Artist's Statement: This acrylic painting highlights an important aspect of medicine that is often overlooked — the interdependence of art and medicine. For me, I strive to become a better listener, observer, interpreter, and communicator through the arts. Medicine is very much an art, and in many ways, I believe we can also treat art as medicine.
